How does damage in form of -1/-1 counters work if the card attacking can’t do damage | tcgmode

I had this card with 2 -1/-1 counters and I don’t know what the point of blocking would be if it’s worse to block? Any advice is also highly welcome cause my deck my deck is highly reliant on -1/-1 counters?.
