What are the Kaiju counters icons supposed to represent? | tcgmode

I don't understand what the Kaiju counters are supposed to represent. Is it a shield? Is it the logo of something? I haven’t found the same symbol on Kaiju cards. It doesn't look like the G-Force emblem from the Godzilla movies. Or maybe it's just a random logo created by Konami with no referenc...
