Does Varchild’s War-Riders make 2 tokens on the 2nd upkeep, 3 tokens on the 3dd upkeep, etc.? | tcgmode

I have not found a concrete answer on this yet; I know with the cumulative upkeep you need to pay one more mana on each upkeep, but do you also put more tokens under opponents control with each upkeep?
