The Hobbit's basic land cycle bears a strong resemblance to some of Tolkien's original sketches | tcgmode

Tolkien only did a few sketches/watercolors of scenes from the Hobbit, so when the lands were spoiled and I noticed similarities I had to look them up to get a comparison. Do you think it was an intentional reference?
