Quick muddle question | tcgmode

I cast a copy spell on muddle, trigger it copies a non legend and has myriad, copy spell resolves The token copy is the copied creature and has myriad right ? I'm pretty sure it's the case since it says "except it has myriad" and not "it gains myriad" but I just want to make sure
