Kelermorph, deal 1 damage when creature dies and board wipe interaction question? | tcgmode

if my opponent plays a board wipe (e.g wrath of God), and I have kelermorph and Hissing Iguanar (or similar) on the board, how does that interaction work? I know Hissing Iguanar would still deal the 1 damage to each player, but would the Kelermorph ability still trigger from death triggers deali...
