Rules for drawing 2 with hidden blade | tcgmode

if I use hidden blade on my opponents unit, they react with a hidden wages of pain to kill their own unit, do they still draw 2? to my knowledge they don't because at resolution there is no "it" for the line "it's controller draws 2", but is there anything in the rules that directly states this?...
