What's the deal with maelstrom pulse in foundations boosters? | tcgmode

According to game I have all rares from foundations, yet I only have 1 maestrom pulse. When I open foundations I only get gems for rares. So I assume you can't open maestrom pulse from packs? Why is that and why there is no information about it? Eighter way rip 2k gold :(
